2016 Barnstable Brown Obesity and Diabetes Research Day  - The event is sponsored by the Barnstable Brown Kentucky Diabetes and Obesity Center, Center of Research in Obesity and Cardiovascular Disease (NIH 5P20RR021954) and the NIH Training grant on Oxidative Stress (NIH 2T32DK007778). Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Ground Rounds to be held in Conjunction with the 28th Annual PM&R Research Day, May 26, 2016  - Dr. Julie Silver, Associate Professor, Associate Chair, Harvard Medical School, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will be the keynote speaker at the 28th Annual Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Research Day. Dr. Silver's presentation is titled "The Role of Prehabilitation and Rehabilitation in High-Quality Cancer Care". Dr. Silver's presentation will be from 12pm-1pm. A buffet lunch will be provided from 11am-12pm at which time we will also showcase our PMR residents' research posters. The conference will be held at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, 2050 Versailles Road, Lexington, KY, Center of Learning, conference rooms 3 & 4. The University of Kentucky College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
